A breast cancer diagnosis brings more than medical decisions. It brings questions, uncertainty, and often fear, including the fear of recurrence.   At Novartis Singapore, our Know More, Fear Less campaign is grounded in a simple belief: knowledge is power. When patients better understand their risks, options and next steps, they are better equipped to navigate survivorship with greater clarity and confidence.   Recently, we brought this belief to life through a simulation experience with A Life in a Day. Some of our associates, together with partners from Breast Cancer Foundation and Singapore Cancer Society as well as content creators/artistes – Andie Chen, Anabel Chew and Vikneswary Se – stepped into the shoes of a breast cancer patient.   In a single day, participants experienced the emotional weight of a diagnosis, the challenge of processing complex information, and the pressure of navigating decisions while managing the practical and emotional toll that treatment can bring. It was a powerful reminder that survivorship extends far beyond treatment.   At the subsequent workshop and panel discussion, we explored how timely and open conversations about recurrence, combined with integrated psychosocial support, can strengthen understanding, emotional readiness, adherence, and long-term outcomes.   One reflection from the panel resonated deeply: “The best gift we can give someone is our presence.”   Thank you Mark Lin, Soo Thoo Zhang Jacob, Dr Wei Seong Ooi from OncoCare, and Yvonne Ang for sharing your personal and thoughtful insights during the discussion, and for being on this journey with us.   Learn more about the campaign here: https://lnkd.in/g6tMQDyy   #KnowMoreFearLess #BreastCancer #RiskofRecurrence #Survivorship #PatientEmpowerment #NovartisSingapore
