【2025年業績と医療課題への貢献に向けた成長戦略を発表】  【Novartis Pharma outlines 2025 performance and growth strategy aimed at addressing healthcare challenges】 4月20日、ノバルティスファーマは年次記者会見を開催し、進化する医療課題に向き合いながら、患者さんにより高い価値を届け続けることを軸に、2025年の業績および成長戦略を発表しました。  当社の国内売上は、注力4製品の力強い成長に支えられ、前年比約10％増の継続的な成長を達成しています。  また、年内完了予定の篠山工場における放射性リガンド療法（RLT）の国内製造機能拡張についても紹介しました。本投資は、地域に約300億円の経済効果をもたらす試算であり、日本の医療と産業の双方に好循環をもたらす取り組みであることが、代表取締役社長のジョンポール・プリシーノより語られました。    今月、開発本部長に就任した西庄功一からは、クリニカルトランスレーショナルリサーチハブを起点としたFirst-In-Human試験の拡大、昨年の６つの新薬承認、そして2020年以降、当社は希少疾病や小児領域において、日本の患者さんに最も多くの新たな治療選択肢を届けてきた実績について紹介しました。    さらに、本記者会見では元厚生労働省医政局長の武田俊彦氏をお迎えし、日本の成長戦略における創薬・先端医療の役割や、日本への投資を促進するための制度設計の重要性について、プリシーノ社長とのトークセッションが行われました。その中では、イノベーションを後押しする制度設計は、希少疾患、小児領域で深刻化するドラッグラグ・ドラッグロス問題の解消にも寄与すること、そしてそれが国民一人ひとりに関わる重要なテーマであることが語られました。    今年、30周年を迎えるノバルティスは、これからも、誰もなしえなかった医療の未来を描き、日本の医療課題に向き合い続けます。    On April 20, Novartis Pharma held its Annual Press Conference in Japan, outlining our 2025 business performance and growth strategy, with a continued focus on delivering meaningful impact for patients while responding to evolving healthcare challenges.    Our Country President, John Paul Pullicino, also shared updates on the expansion of domestic manufacturing capabilities for Radioligand Therapy (RLT) at our Sasayama site, scheduled for completion later this year. This investment is estimated to generate approximately JPY 30 billion in regional economic impact, contributing to positive momentum across both Japan’s healthcare system and industrial ecosystem.    Koichi Nishijo, who assumed Head of Development this month, highlighted the growing impact of our Clinical Translational Research Hub, including the expansion of First-in-Human trials, six new drug approvals achieved last year, and our track record since 2020 of delivering the highest number of new treatment options in Japan in the rare disease and pediatric space.     The conference also featured a dialogue between President Pullicino and Mr. Toshihiko Takeda, former Director-General of the Health Policy Bureau at the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Their discussion focused on the role of drug discovery and advanced medicine in Japan’s growth strategy, and the importance of policy frameworks that encourages sustained investment in Japan. They emphasized that systems which enable innovation are critical to addressing drug lag and drug loss, particularly in rare and pediatric diseases.    Marking its 30th anniversary this year, we remain committed to reimagining the future of medicine and continuing to contribute to solving Japan’s healthcare challenges. #ノバルティス #novartisjapan #Reimaginingmedicinetogether #ヘルスケア #医療 #医療の未来 #イノベーション #InnovativeHealthcare #RadioligandTherapy #PatientCentricHealthcare #HealthcareLeadership #PolicyShaping #EquitableAccess
