Our HEOR fellows had the opportunity to present their research at AMCP Annual in Nashville, TN.     First-year fellow at Thomas Jefferson University, Vietbao Phan, PharmD presented “Infection Prevention Challenges and Lessons Learned from COVID-19: Implications for Acute Care Preparedness” and “’Someone to Talk To’: Preferred App Features and Willingness to Pay Among Pregnant, Postpartum, and Miscarried Individuals with Opioid Use Disorder.” Bao wants to thank the two sponsors for their support: The Center of Health Economics of Treatment Interventions for Substance Use Disorder, HCV, and HIV (CHERISH) and Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality on these projects.    First-year fellow at The University of Texas at Austin and Baylor Scott & White Health, Beverly Fuerte presented “Health Outcomes of Guideline-directed Medical Therapy for Heart Failure in Patients with Transthyretin Amyloid Cardiomyopathy” and “Delayed Diagnosis of Transthyretin Amyloid Cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM) Among Patients Treated with Tafamidis.” Beverly had the opportunity to collaborate with Dr. Chanhyun Park from UTexas Health Outcomes Division and Dasol K., the second-year internal Baylor Scott & White fellow on her project investigating delayed diagnosis of ATTR-CM.     Second-year fellow at University of Pittsburgh and UPMC Health Plan, Cindy Chan, PharmD, MHI presented “Healthcare expenditure: associated with comorbidities in adults with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in the US: A pooled analysis of the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS)”    We’re proud of our fellows for advancing impactful, evidence-based research that informs managed care decision-making and improves patient outcomes. #HEOR #AMCPAnnual #Fellowship #Novartis #AMCP
