🥇 Going for gold at Nova! Four Novans were formally recognised with a Vice Chief of Defence (VCDF) Gold Commendation for their significant and long-standing efforts on the MQ-4C Triton Acquisition, supporting the Aerospace Surveillance and Response IWP since 2018. Nova has played a significant role in acquisition, including project management, test and evaluation, logistics, training systems, commercial, and engineering functions. Shannon Carbone, Mike Roberts, John Muir and Ryan Tonkin were listed on the commendation, however many Novans who have come before them have played a pivotal role in the successful acquisition of Triton – two of those not named were Elizabeth Espinosa and Torsten (Tor) Landwehr, with Cameron Butter and Stu Whiteley FIML, MIPM receiving individual awards.
