Kim Slater’s story is a reminder that there is no set timeline for achieving your ambitions.   This week, we were proud to award Kim an honorary degree from Nottingham Trent University, recognising her contribution to contemporary fiction and her incredible journey since graduating from NTU.   After returning to education as a mature student, Kim studied English and Creative Writing at NTU before going on to become a Sunday Times bestselling author. Writing as K L Slater, her psychological thrillers have reached readers all around the world!   We’re delighted to celebrate Kim’s achievements and welcome her back to NTU as an honorary graduate.
