As a landscape ecologist, Harry Statter spent years studying how wildfires moved and spread. Eventually, he realized prevention alone wasn’t enough. We need automated defense, too.   That idea led to Frontline Wildfire Defense, the company pioneering automated wildfire protection for homes and communities nationwide.   Frontline’s system, recognized as a TIME’s Best Inventions of 2025, is the first in its class to combine design, hardware, software, and environmental data to create a proactive line of defense. It helps prevent ignition by automatically pre-wetting a property and its surroundings when fire conditions intensify.   During the LA fires, Frontline’s system protected 59 homes with a 96% efficacy rate and validated what we believe is a fundamentally different approach to protecting people and property from wildfires.    As Harry Statter explained to Jon Kossow, embers can travel over 20 miles from a wildfire. That’s why automation is essential; there will never be enough boots on the ground to defend every structure at once.    Read more about our investment from Jon Kossow, Scott Mitchell, Cassie McHenry, and Aidan Greenstein: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gXZ8dPxX
