🌎 At Rice University’s Mexico Country Outlook 2025, #NADBank Chief Environmental Officer Salvador López Córdova joined leading voices in energy, infrastructure, and innovation to discuss how strategic investment can shape Mexico’s long-term growth. Alongside Paulina S. D. (CFE International LLC), ROGER GONZALEZ LAU (Protexa), Narcis de Carreras (Valia Energía), and panel moderator Pablo Zárate (FTI Consulting), Salvador highlighted how resilient infrastructure is central to unlocking economic opportunity and improving quality of life across the U.S.-Mexico 🤝 border. 💧 In 2024 alone, bilateral trade reached US$280 billion, with #Texas and #Mexico linked by 1,254 miles of shared border. But to sustain this growth, our region needs reliable water, affordable #energy, and modern #infrastructure. Nearly 75% of border crossings were built before NAFTA—underscoring the urgency of modernization. NADBank’s mission is clear: finance projects that improve the quality of life of border residents including water resiliency, energy, and cross-border mobility & connectivity. As Salvador noted, long-term prosperity depends on addressing these shared challenges through innovation, collaboration, and investment. 🤝 Thank you to Rice University, Baker Institute Center for the United States and Mexico, and Tony Payan for convening this important dialogue. #USMXBorder #Infrastructure #Innovation #Energy #WaterSecurity #BinationalCooperation #RiceUniversity #BakerInstitute #MexicoCountryOutlook
