When Polar Park, home of the Worcester Red Sox, was under construction during the COVID-19 pandemic, Hydro Montréal had to adapt. With strict site access in place, the company's shipping department coordinated closely with the construction team to ensure deliveries arrived on schedule and without disruption. Faced with a challenging profile, Hydro Montréal's engineers wasted no time collaborating with die makers to develop specialized tooling needed to complete the project. The company delivered 17,000 pounds of extrusion, along with an additional 13,000 pounds of painted extrusion used in the ballpark's iconic blue façade. Today, Polar Park is recognized as one of the premier minor league baseball venues in North America, having won multiple awards for its design and atmosphere.
