♻️ A major milestone for circular construction in Norway. At Sørkedalsveien 6 in Oslo, Hydro is delivering Norway’s first office refurbishment with a closed-loop aluminium façade. Aluminium from the existing building is being carefully recovered and recycled through Hydro’s network, demonstrating how façade aluminium can remain in circulation through full material traceability. 🔄 Around 50 tonnes of aluminium from the original façade are being kept in circulation, reducing waste, preserving valuable resources, and supporting a more circular approach to construction. 🌍 By retaining much of the existing structure and improving energy performance, the project shows how refurbishment can help lower emissions while extending the life of both buildings and materials. ⚡🏗️ Made possible through close collaboration across the value chain, this project demonstrates that circular construction is no longer just an ambition—it's happening today. 🤝♻️ Read more about the project: https://brnw.ch/21x3XPa
