Not (y)our everyday view. 🤩 22 metres. 129 tonnes. And one precise move: At our Clauen factory, a new evaporator has been lifted into place — a moment that shows the scale behind our operations. Projects like this happen between two beet campaigns, when we prepare our factories for the next production phase. The new evaporator is a key component in the sugar production process and will be commissioned in time for the 2026/27 campaign. Its purpose is to evaporate water from the sugar juice and further concentrate it, with the resulting steam being used for subsequent stages of the process at the plant. The additional evaporation stage will serve to complement the existing technology at the site and optimise energy consumption. 💪 #nordzucker #shapingthefuture #evaporator
