We have the great pleasure of announcing the first speaker for the one-day course on BOLD fMRI and Tractography, presented by NordicNeuroLab at this year’s ESNR meeting! Anna Miserocchi, consultant neurosurgeon from the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, will be providing the keynote lecture “A neurosurgical perspective on the use of BOLD and Tractography.” Anna Miserocchi specializes in epilepsy surgery, brain tumours resections and biopsies and gamma knife radiosurgery. She earned her medical degree and completed specialist neurosurgery training at the University of Milan. Renowned for using advanced technologies such as neuronavigation and diffusion tensor imaging, Ms Miserocchi’s areas of focus include awake craniotomy, intraoperative MRI, and robotic-assisted placement of depth electrodes to improve surgical outcomes. An Honorary Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at University College London, she has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and remains actively involved in advancing neurosurgical practice.
