To mark #WorldEnvironmentDay, #TeamNordex ran a dedicated action week last week, focusing on turning sustainability awareness into everyday action across Nordex Group production sites and offices worldwide. Each day highlighted a specific theme: from #ClimateAction and #ResponsibleProduction to #SafeChemicals & a #HealthyPlanet, as well as #PeopleAndCommunities. These themes were brought to life through short talk tracks, awareness insights and hands-on actions that teams could apply immediately. Our colleagues reflected on how their work contributes to reducing environmental impact, identified waste in production, strengthened safe chemical handling, and explored how to create a positive impact beyond the workplace – for example through clean-up drives and tree planting initiatives. The focus was on making sustainability in our daily work both visible and actionable. Teams also shared their learnings and committed to continuing at least one sustainable action beyond the week. Because at Nordex, sustainability is not only about the clean energy our turbines generate it is also about how we manufacture, how we operate, and how we act every day.
