Human services programs teach the protocols. Suicide risk screening. Mandated reporting. Crisis de-escalation. Students can recite the steps. What's harder to teach is execution under pressure, when a real person is sitting across from them and the script runs out. Fluency in those moments builds through repetition, with feedback, in a low-stakes environment before placement begins. Noodle put together a new practice guide for programs in nursing, health sciences, criminal justice, social work, mental health, and education mapping where that kind of preparation matters most.
