The transformation of our evaporation plant in Mariager has reached a key moment, enabling greener, more flexible industrial production. We now operate with over 60% more production capacity while reducing energy consumption by two thirds per ton of salt.   This milestone enhances our efficiency and climate performance and strengthens our position as an energy company and balance partner in Denmark’s electricity system. By electrifying core processes and adding new production flexibility, we can now adjust our energy use in real time and actively support the stability of the grid.   During a recent visit, Søren Møller, Managing Director Denmark, and Mads Boel Overgaard Andersen, Site Asset and Technology Manager, had the pleasure of showing Kristian Jensen from Green Power Denmark how our setup enables us to scale production up or down depending on grid needs – an important contribution as Denmark accelerates its green transition.   This achievement has only been possible thanks to the dedicated work of our colleagues and partners. To reach climate goals, sector coupling and close collaboration are essential, and we are committed to leading the way as we continue to advance new balancing services and large-scale energy storage solutions in Denmark.   Read more (in Danish): https://lnkd.in/eXyEYKbt #GrowGreenerTogether #E-flex #chemistry #salt #ElectricitySystem
