Nobian and VERVAEKE have launched Europe’s first ADR‑certified hydrogen truck, marking a major step toward zero‑emission logistics for essential chemicals. This pilot demonstrates that hydrogen-powered transport can meet strict ADR safety requirements, helping unlock sustainable alternatives in a sector where diesel has long dominated. With its long driving range, quick refuelling and lower vehicle weight compared to battery-electric options, the truck can safely and efficiently transport large-volume essential chemicals produced by Nobian.   The three-year pilot will operate on routes around Rotterdam, replacing a diesel truck and enabling an estimated 88.5 tons of CO₂ reduction per 100,000 km. By co-developing this project, Nobian underscores its commitment to accelerating sustainable, low‑emission logistics for chemical products.   Rein Hendriks, Director Business Planning at Nobian: “We are committed to taking decisive steps towards a future‑proof, zero‑emission logistics chain. With hydrogen infrastructure and technology advancing, there is significant potential for hydrogen as an enabler of safe, low‑emission transport of essential chemicals. This project illustrates how we work hard to Grow Greener Together with our partners.” Read more on our website: https://lnkd.in/eKDhTskK   #GreenHydrogen #fuel #GrowGreenerTogether #chemistry Frédéric Derumeaux, Pim Rog
