Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) are considered the gold standard for evaluating treatment effectiveness because they minimize bias. An RCT conducted at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands demonstrated excellent clinical outcomes for NobelActive® implants in the esthetic zone after 10 years of follow-up—regardless of whether they were provisionalized immediately or using a delayed protocol. However, immediate provisionalization outperformed the delayed approach, showing better buccal bone preservation and a shorter time to final teeth. Key findings: • 100% implant and prosthetic survival • Excellent marginal bone response and healthy soft tissue • Stable long-term esthetics • High patient satisfaction at 10 years Discover the full study: [https://lnkd.in/dAncmWbu] #NobelBiocare #OwnTheZone #Esthetics #Estheticdigitalworkflow #NobelActive #NobelScience #ScienceFirst
