Perhaps we have found a better EFCC boss The United States Navy has celebrated Lieutenant Victor Agunbiade for an effective management of its largest overseas cash disbursement office. Agunbiade, a Nigerian-born US Navy Reserve Supply Officer currently serving at Camp Lemonnier in Djibouti, was awarded the Navy and Marine Corp Development Medal for his exemplary accountability. According to the US Navy, Agunbiade who emigrated from Nigeria in 2007 and enlisted in the Navy as a storekeeper in 2008 and commissioned as an officer in 2013 while serving as disbursing officer, comptroller department, Camp Lemonnier Djibouti from October 2019 to July 2020 managed very well a sum of $45 million (N17,378,550,000) in cash transaction. The US Navy added that Agunbiade also maintained 100% accountability of $23 million (N8,882,370,000) among six (6) rigorous inspections and independent audits with zero discrepancies. This is a good image for the country, especially in a time when companies oversea are rejecting job applications from Nigerians as a result of Hushpuppi's fraudulent activities which led to his arrest. Not all Nigerians like in every other country are fraudulent.
