Ever wondered what impact a fragment no larger than a coin can have when travelling at speeds of up to 28,000 km/h? The risk of satellites being hit is increasing. 🛰️ 💥 Without coordinated action, this could undermine the very infrastructure modern society depends on.   Space debris is not a distant concern. It requires action now. Today, NLR is proud to sign the Zero Debris Charter at the Amsterdam Space Symposium together with key partners from the Dutch space ecosystem: TU Delft | Aerospace Engineering, Lens R&D B.V., SPHERICAL, Axient Systems B.V., S[&]T, and Technolution.   By signing the Charter, NLR reaffirms its commitment to advancing safe and sustainable space operations through research, system design and policy support. We thank ESA Space Safety for co-organising this signature ceremony.   NLR looks forward to continued cooperation with ESA and the Zero Debris Community as we collectively work towards the development of technologies required to become debris-neutral.
