NLR's GRACE x CrossWindBlower facility bridges the gap between laboratory testing and harsh real-world operations for both defense and civil applications. We combine a highly responsive moving flight deck with a massive wind simulation system. The deck is engineered to replicate realistic sea states and ship motions, while the blower subjects autonomous systems to ship speed and wind gusts. We train your drone operator or your landing navigation algorithm. We test the limits long before they ever leave the safety of the shore.
