Entrepreneurs create growth, jobs and prosperity! Today, on the Netherlands Day of the Entrepreneur we would like to express our respect and admiration for all Dutch entrepreneurs for their courage and perseverance. In the spotlight today, René Fijen founder of Fijen wegdekverlichting en -reflectoren a road safety company established in Oman since 2010. René runs an SME comprised mainly of Omani employees, which he describes as the main “success factor”, he believes that a company success lies in the team and therefore focuses on job training to enhance employees skills and knowledge and team building activities to keep his team engaged and motivated. What has kept Fijen successful, despite the current challenging situation the world is facing, is to think out of the box along with his team to identify problems and solutions, but also being supportive and present for each of his staff members. “Patience and perseverance are essential attributes for any entrepreneur who wants to be successful!
