This is the first ever such movement by any Central Asian country on their transport. This movement carried out by NLC partner company in Kyrgyzstan. The achievement represents a major milestone paving the way for enhanced connectivity and trade. Plans for such movements till Karachi ports are being finalized providing new opportunities for land locked countries. The vehicle entered Pakistan via China under the framework of the Quadrilateral Traffic in Transit Agreement (QTTA) marking a significant milestone in regional connectivity. The participation of Kyrgyz operators under the QTTA framework is expected to further strengthen direct connectivity between Bishkek and Karachi Port offering Kyrgyzstan access to the shortest and most efficient trade route. Since 2024, NLC has been regularly transporting Kyrgyz-bound cargo from Karachi Port to destinations across Kyrgyzstan through a multimodal TIR system. The operationalization of the QTTA corridor has also provided Central Asian states with a viable alternative trade route enabling the seamless movement of both perishable and non-perishable Pakistani goods via China. #NLC #RegionalConnectivity #QTTA #TransitTrade #Kyrgyzstan #PakistanTrade #Logistics #MultimodalLogistics
