While summer is setting in, progress continues on the construction of the NKT T3600 subsea trencher in the United Kingdom. Along the way, we also had a reminder of what we are building towards. A LEGO version of the subsea powerhouse, created by our partner Osbit, capturing both the scale and the detail behind the real machine. Behind the bricks sits serious engineering. The NKT T3600 will become one of the world’s most powerful subsea trenchers, delivering 3,600 horsepower and designed to bury power cables up to 5.5 metres below the seabed. The project is progressing well and represents an important step in strengthening our in-house installation capabilities, supporting safe and reliable cable installation even in challenging conditions.
