🚀 Team SNAP-DG Wins 1st Position at NASA Space Apps Challenge 2025! 🌍✨ Constituent 2 times winners of this Hackathon 2024 and 2025 We’re beyond proud to announce that our team SNAP-DG achieved the 1st Position 🏆 in the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2025, held at Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal (Uttarakhand) — one of the world’s largest global hackathons organized by NASA, uniting innovators from 150 + countries! 🌌 Our project, “Impactor 2025”, focuses on predicting and visualizing the potential impact of Near-Earth Objects (NEOs) such as asteroids and meteoroids. It simulates their trajectories, impact effects like seismic activity, atmospheric change, and tsunamis, and includes a VR-enabled 3D model for immersive exploration. 🪐💻 To make learning fun, we also created a mini-game — “Defend Earth” — where players can experience the challenge of protecting our planet from incoming space threats in an interactive way! 🎮🌍 Winning this challenge was a dream come true. As recognition, we received a Telescope 70076 🔭 and a 2-Day & 1-Night Astro Tour by Astroverse — an unforgettable cosmic experience! 🌠 We extend heartfelt gratitude to the entire Astroverse team, especially Rupin Thapa Sir, Shubham Sir, and Ajay Rawat Sir, for their outstanding mentorship, guidance, and constant motivation. 🙏💫 Special thanks to Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal,for hosting such an inspiring event.
