Of course most of us will know the man on the right - the legendary Pistol Pete. However it is the man on the left who is the hero of this story. He was instrumental in turning the young man into a champion - or dare I say - an all time great. This man has given a Ramakant Achrekar (God bless his soul forever) moment to tennis folklore. He would place dollar bills in the cones at practice, and anyone hitting these cones would win the dollars inside. And some of his famous students apart from Sampras are Tracy Austin and Lindsay Davenport. And the man here is Robert Lansdorp - the Ramakant Achrekar of Tennis.
