A high-level delegation from the Ministry of Commerce, Qatar and Qatar Energy, led by Mr. Ahmad Al-Ahen, Senior Advisor, Ministry of Commerce, Qatar, met with Shri Sanjeet Singh, Programme Director, NITI Aayog, to advance the India–Qatar Strategic Partnership. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral trade and investment ties, addressing non-tariff barriers, and accelerating progress on the India–Qatar Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). Both sides deliberated on unlocking the potential to double bilateral trade from USD 14 billion to USD 28 billion by 2030.
