Follow along with our team on the OSNAP 2026 expedition! Last week, the RV Neil Armstrong left the harbour of St John’s, Canada, with three of our NIOZ colleagues on board. They set sail towards the OSNAP line, an observation array that provides measurements of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (#AMOC) in the subpolar North Atlantic. During their expedition of one month, they will service 11 moorings in the OSNAP-array: five from NIOZ, and six from colleagues in the US. Elodie Duyck and her team will blog about their adventures at sea: the work on the moorings, the first data they will collect, the challenges they will meet. And of course about their life on board of a research vessel. You can follow their blog on our website, and even subscribe to get updated about new posts! https://lnkd.in/e3-qi_88 NIOZ Ocean Systems department NIOZ National Marine Facilities
