Shaping the Future of Finance | Transformation & AI Enthusiast - LโOrรฉal Finance Transformation Director DACH
Last week, around 110 colleagues from Finance, Data and Purchasing came together for our Career Day at L'Orรฉal DACH. From the start, the idea was simple: move the conversation away from titles and predefined steps towards direction. We talked about career paths - plural. Not all journeys are linear. And as roles in Finance continue to evolve, careers do too. Across panels and workshops, one theme kept coming back: real impact starts when we look below the surface and try to understand how people think, decide and engage. Thatโs why the agenda focused on skills that matter today and will matter even more tomorrow: storytelling, tech literacy, and giving uncomfortable feedback (thanks to our great trainers Dean Kaden, Caroline Voit, Dr. Jan Degener, Tobias Schmidt). Our Global HR Director for Finance, Data and Legal Christophe Gamet put it very clearly: the skills of the future are increasingly human skills. What I hope people took away from the day wasnโt a perfect plan. But a stronger sense of ownership.Which is why the motto felt right: We closed the day by saying goodbye to our CFO Stephane Grimardias, a true role model for human leadership. A big thank you to everyone who made the day possible: the co-organizers Patricia Held Saskia Falk Stephanie JUNG-DELACOURT Gabriele Bachmann-Deutsch, panelists, speakers and trainers! #FutureSkills #Careers #ModernFinance #FinanceTransformation
