Last Thursday, I had the incredible opportunity to present at J.P. Morgan’s Embankment office as part of IBM’s agentic AI showcase using WatsonxOrchestrate, where I delivered an agentic voice demo focused on showcasing the platform’s text-to-speech capabilities. It was an inspiring day engaging with an audience spanning hedge funds, quantitative researchers, and investment banks. During my presentation, I focused on how voice-enabled agents can drive real business value, particularly in financial services for the likes of transaction support or account inquiries. Focus areas from my session: - Highlighting how voice-enabled agents are more than just audio and build brand identity and trust: voice carries ‘personality, emotion, tone and brand identity’ - Designing and demoing a custom voice via prompt engineering using ElevenLabs, applied to a customer Q&A scenario for Company Jinks, a dance company - Explaining 3rd party voice integration via TTS APIs within the Watson Orchestrate UI - Optimising latency, stability and emotional depth with Orchestrate’s voice customisation features I presented this alongside my amazing team Jamie Tu, Marlene M. and René Bossa as part of a technical deep dive session into watsonxOrchestrate. They covered other capabilities such as knowledge and the Agent Development Kit. Massive well done to the IBM team for all their efforts including Adam Hammond, Rachel Lum and Simon Boyden who presented quantum aspects and insights into delivering successful AI solutions. Would like to give a special thank you to Rachel, Rene and Demessie Girma for the invaluable feedback and guidance during the preparation for this presentation. #watsonxorchestrate #IBM #JPMorgan #WomeninTech #AgenticAI #AIinFinance
