Observing World Brain Tumor Day 2026. On 23rd June 2026, the Department of Nursing, NIMHANS, organized a public awareness programme at the Neuro Centre, Bengaluru, to promote understanding of brain tumors and the importance of early detection and timely treatment. Public Awareness Program: Around 80 participants, including patients, caregivers, nursing students, and members of the public, actively engaged in expert talks, interactive discussions, and educational activities focused on warning signs, diagnosis, treatment options, and rehabilitation related to brain tumors. Brain tumor awareness is not just about recognizing symptoms it is about enabling early intervention, improving outcomes, and supporting affected individuals and families.
