Big thanks to the @Okta and @Auth0 teams for the incredible session on "The Agentic Enterprise Blueprint"! 🚀 Understanding how to govern autonomous agents is a massive leap forward in building secure, scalable systems. This lecture provided vital clarity on how to bridge the gap between identity management and the agentic workflows we are all striving to master. I’m currently bridging these concepts with two powerful pieces of the architecture for my marketplace API project: The Postman MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server: This acts as the "Universal Language" for my project, allowing my agents to securely access real-time marketplace context—like inventory and seller data—without needing custom integrations for every tool. Kong’s AI Gateway: This is my "Traffic Cop" and "Security Guard." By implementing AI Prompt Guards, Decorators, and Proxy controls, I’m ensuring that every interaction—from prompt to response—is governed, monitored, and compliant. Kong provides the rules and perimeter security, while MCP provides the context and connectivity. It’s been a rewarding challenge to weave these together, and it’s a total game-changer for visibility and keeping sensitive marketplace data protected.
