Postdoctoral Researcher | Experimental Psychology
Excited to share that I’ve just started a new position as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg 🎓 Over the past year, I’ve been working on my own project, which is almost ready to launch (stay tuned!), and preparing for my German language exam, which I successfully passed in October. And as of today, I’m back in academia! In my new role, I’ll be working on decoding the semantics of basic gaze patterns and exploring how gaze conveys meaning in social interaction. I’m excited about the empirical focus of this project, using mixed-method experimental designs and eye tracking as the core method. I’m very happy to be working with Lynn Huestegge and Anne Böckler-Raettig on this project. The work is part of the DFG-funded Priority Programme Understanding Gaze (UGaze), an interdisciplinary initiative focusing on gaze expression, gaze sharing, and gaze interaction in collaborative and naturalistic settings. Looking forward to diving into a new research field, further strengthening my methodological expertise, and connecting with new colleagues and collaborators!
