Imagine you could write to your football hero. What would you say? Six young players from Manchester recently got the chance. As part of Football Beyond Borders, a Nike-supported nonprofit that empowers young people from underserved communities through football, they wrote letters directly to their idols on the England national team.   One wrote to Marcus Rashford about resilience and the pressures young people face today.    Another connected with John Stones over their shared calm demeanor.   The letters, written on Nike x Palace Skateboards stationery, were delivered to England players ahead of this summer’s tournament.    “Sport can transform young lives. That’s why we’re investing in partners like Football Beyond Borders, which supports athletes on and off the pitch,” says Vanessa Garcia-Brito, VP & Chief Impact Officer. “We’re proud to work with FBB and 200+ community organizations worldwide to make youth sport more accessible, inclusive and fun.
