It's been a hard week. My offer from Oracle was rescinded before I could even join. We completed the interview process in November 2025 and received our offer letters soon after. For almost seven months, we kept getting regular communication from them. But two weeks before our joining date, I got a call revoking the offer. While it is understandable that a private company has to make tough business decisions, it's hard as a final-year student to suddenly be back on the job hunt, when all of us had been counting on joining Oracle. I'm not the only one. Around 15 of us had our Oracle offers rescinded, and we're all back on the job hunt together. I believe every one of us is capable of finding our place and landing somewhere great, it's the lost time that hurts the most. I build applications, web or iOS, and work with AI.
