Your lead times are wrong, and you're planning around them anyway. In most ERPs, the lead time field gets set once and updated once a year, if that, and usually off what a supplier quoted rather than what they actually delivered. Nightshift agents track actual delivery against quoted lead time across your PO history, and update the planning parameter when a supplier drifts. Your buffers and your reorder points run on what's true now, not what was true eighteen months ago.
