Well – our trip to the American Association of Political Consultants Pollie Awards week started out with a BANG! This flight was jam packed with operatives. Brent Brooks, Christian Schaeffer, Kathryn Dalke, Matt Hedberg, Carter Kidd Schildknecht, Kyle Knauff.   Even got to sit next to this guy … (David Purkert)   And we were all covered because even our lawyers were on board. (Steve Roberts, Nicole Kelly)   Like I said to Robert Byers … if this plane goes down, you’re the designated survivor. Please make sure we win!   We were invited to an awesome dinner to start the conference hosted by Rye Digital Strategies. Andy Y.. Bert Ralston. Joseph N. Resta. Had the honor of sitting next to Walter Haynie and THE Matthew Klink, MA. (In my 30 years of politics, Matt holds the distinction of being the only person who brought us a client saying it’s a “gold mine” … and it was literally a gold mine.   Enjoyed spending time with Josh Thomas, Sessions Cox, RJ Caster, Jon Seaton, Matthew Kenney, Ken M., Jonathan Ewing, Casey Berger, Matt Hafer, Adam Radman, Damian Arias. And many more.   Highlight of the event … Matthew Knee calling me “boss-in-law.”   Thanks to the AAPC for putting on an amazing event, and for letting Spencer Flake, Walter and I spend an entire day in their leadership lounge for our meetings.
