And your winner is… Indianapolis. Indianapolis didn’t just host the final games this weekend. It hosted EVERYTHING. For the first time, one city carried the Division I, II, III, and NIT men’s basketball championships in the same week. Plus concerts and a Ferris wheel and interactive fan experiences. Seamlessly. That kind of undertaking demands much more than ambition alone; it requires leadership, coordination and operational excellence. Congratulations to the NCAA, the Indiana Sports Corp and the City of Indianapolis for pulling off something historic. It was incredible to see great vision and extraordinary execution transform “can’t be done” into “never been done before” and then into “we can do that.” Proud of this city. Grateful to have witnessed it.
