𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀! 🚀 Dear network, I’ve been on an incredible journey with the Cornwall LEM and LocalFlex team through Centrica and EPEX SPOT, building a market platform for flexibility trading — from scratch all the way to successful and scalable market operations in the UK and beyond. I’m truly proud of what the team has achieved — and continues to achieve — in lowering barriers to market access and fostering flexibility for the grid 🌍. I’m very grateful for the fantastic five years I’ve spent with such talented teams, and I’ll be following their next transformations closely. There’s a long list of people I’d like to thank, but I’m sure they’ll easily recognize themselves — and it would also not have been possible without the knowledge I built over the years with my former GE Vernova colleagues 🙏. Last April, I decided to open a new chapter in my career: to take a leap of faith and embark on the exciting adventure of #entrepreneurship 🚀. It’s something that’s been in the back of my mind for a long time. It’s certainly not an easy move, but over the past months, the planets seemed to align, and I felt it was the right moment to make the jump. I couldn’t have found a better associate than Elies Lahmar to launch this new project with. Together, we’ve founded a new startup called 𝗖𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀, focused on 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀, 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗔𝗜. The company is now officially created, and we’ve been working intensively over the past months on developing our models and solutions.
