Procurement & ERP As we are getting close to the New Year, I want everyone in procurement to stand up and declare that we will no longer tolerate ERP in the procurement space. 30 years of SAP and Oracle have totally destroyed the reputation of procurement. Why is the user experience of procurement stuck in the ERP age? Let’s stand up and say: Fuck ERP and fuck IT. If IT does not have user experience in mind, fire them. If IT can only talk about S4 HANA and why they need millions of $’s because their main supplier wants to make more money, send them to a negotiation class. Our suppliers should not take us hostage.
