A little while ago the very talented Dena Ackerman and Gary Nightingale Business Illustration did a little collaboration and I absolutely loved the result so they very kindly agreed to me having a print of it. I’ve finally had it framed and it’s now got pride of place in my office. I can’t quite explain what it is about this little chap, but I’ve followed him throughout our lockdowns everytime Gary has drawn him, and when he was put in this picture about to go up the steps it conveyed a bit of hope to me. Maybe I’m being daft but I call him my lockdown chap and he always makes me smile when I see him. I guess it goes to show how art can affect people, I wonder how Gary and Dena see him? Anyway, I keep asking Gary to draw him a little friend, maybe a stray dog or little cat, but so far it’s fallen on deaf ears! What do you think, isn’t it time he had a friend? Maybe if enough people agree Gary might give in? 😉
