Partner & Managing Director (Southern Europe)

Over the past four to six weeks, we have seen most of our clients transition from more open and public types of searches (for their top management) to a more discreet and confidential way of finding their next leader/s. Although not all properties in Southern Europe are seasonal, many still are, so this requires an adapted approach when brands and owners are forced to ask the tougher questions at this time of year: - Does this executive fit the ownership culture? - Can they manage complex stakeholder dynamics? - Are they commercially credible? - Do they really understand the regional market? - Can they lead through change, not simply maintain operations? This is especially visible across luxury and lifestyle hospitality, where leadership decisions directly influence: - Asset value - Guest perception - Owner confidence - Team stability - Long-term profitability. In the article below, I've outlined all of the three different 'seasons' within the senior levels of Executive Search, (mainly on-property) and explained the main differentiators between them. Now we're well and truly in the "Confidential Season", which is when real hospitality experts like the southern Europe offices of LHC International show our full value. With our network, local knowledge and depth of industry understanding, I genuinely believe that no firm is positioned to find the best solutions in the way we are, in my opinion.
