13 JUL 2026 Ludovica Brignola Kite Lake adds five staff as Q2 inflows pass $1bn Flagship Special Opps fund up over 6% for first half of 2026 Kite Lake Capital saw second-quarter inflows surpass $1bn while adding five new staff across its investment, business, and operations teams. It is understood the $3.9bn manager recruited Ed Rowley as principal software architect from T. Rowe Price, while Millennium vet Krish Raghuraman joins the compliance team. BNY alum Al Miller-Smith joins as an operations analyst, while Jalal Miah joins as a business support assistant, and Mehdi Kheloufi becomes part of the credit investment team Both Miah and Kheloufi previously worked at The Freehold Corporation. The $2.9bn KL Special Opportunities Fund has gained 6.3% YTD after returning 17.9% last year. The $300m KL Event Driven Ucits Fund is up 5.6% through June after gaining 13.8% in 2025, while the KL EM Credit Opportunities Fund is up 8.7% YTD and returned 9.5% last year. Earlier this year, With Intelligence revealed the manager had added a raft of hires to itscredit team. Total headcount at the manager is now at 32, including 19 investment professionals.
