As the mornings grow lighter, I’ve come to truly appreciate those early, quiet moments—taking a breath of fresh air and enjoying the calm before the day begins. This morning’s spot felt particularly meaningful. Set within Glass House Square in the town centre or should I say Tarn, it stands as a reminder of the resilience shown during the COVID pandemic. sculptor Graham Ibbeson and poet Ian McMillan offered their services for free, by way of demonstrating their love and support to Barnsley. In just a few hours, on a sunny day like today, the space will transform—its water features bringing joy to children, and its seating areas filling with people gathering, chatting, and enjoying the atmosphere. Barnsley continues to evolve and refine itself, increasingly establishing its reputation as a destination worth visiting. #barnsleyisbrill #bemorebarnsley #bigupbarnsley #covid #ianmcmillan #barnsleysfiecelovewillforeverholdyouinitsheart #wearebarnsley #grahamibbeson
