During Pride Month, we brought our people together in our Newcastle hub for a panel on allyship and LGBTQIA+ inclusion. We were joined by Zachary Galevski from ACON’s Pride in Diversity program, alongside members of our LGBTQIA+ employee community and our Inclusion & Governance Lead. The conversation focused on what allyship looks like in practice, and the everyday actions that help create a safe and inclusive workplace. Some key takeaways included: - Allyship is most powerful when it’s visible and active. Small, everyday actions can make a meaningful difference to how safe and supported people feel at work. - Inclusion isn’t driven by a single moment, but by consistent behaviours. Being open to learning, inviting different perspectives, and backing each other in real time. - Creating a genuine sense of belonging is a shared responsibility. It takes leadership, intent and collective effort across the organisation. nib is committed to strengthen support for LGBTQIA+ inclusion. Thank you to those who shared their experiences.
