Recently, our Chief Executive Sir Jim Mackey visited West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust to see how teams there are improving care for patients. It’s been a tough few years across the NHS, but the work of our dedicated staff is starting to show – with improvements in performance and growing public confidence. At West Herts, that’s being driven by strong leadership, teams pulling together and a clear focus on getting the basics right. There’s more to do, but this is what progress looks like. As we continue to move forward, the focus is on keeping that momentum going and continuing to improve care for patients across the country.
