This is what building an NHS fit for the future looks like. Last October, we brought together over 120 NHS developers, analysts, clinicians, and operational leads in London for something that had never been done before — a 48-hour hackathon built entirely on the NHS Federated Data Platform. In two days, they produced 25 working prototypes tackling real frontline challenges: predicting Emergency Department demand before it becomes a crisis, flagging patients at risk of deterioration, and turning multi-week planning processes into something operational staff can run in minutes. We captured it on film. Hear from the people who were there. Inspired? Now imagine being part of the next one. Build with FDP North is coming to Leeds on 13–14 May. This time, teams will work across the full Patient Pathway — from Referral and Triage through to Discharge — building solutions at each stage that could make a real difference to patients and staff. We're looking for NHS developers, analysts, clinicians, and operational leads from across the country to come and build together. To attend, you'll need either prior experience building on the NHS FDP, or to complete the eight-hour Builder Curriculum training beforehand — it's self-paced and available now, so there's still plenty of time before May. Places are limited. If you're eligible and want to be in the room, you can register here: https://lnkd.in/eyDaM9Ya #BuildWithFDP #NHSFDP #DigitalHealth #NHSInnovation
