It's Foundation Fundraiser Friday! Today we're sharing a generous welcome back for Gabrielle! 💖✨ The team at the Dudhope Young People’s Unit (YPU) had the absolute pleasure of welcoming back a very special familiar face—former patient, Gabrielle Murray! Gaby and her mum dropped by the unit last week to present an incredible cheque for £1,150! 📝💵 This fantastic total was raised during a family birthday celebration, and Gaby beautifully chose to donate the proceeds right back to the YPU. Donations like this are incredibly valuable for the unit. These funds will be used to directly improve patient experience, helping to facilitate fun outings to the cinema and theatre, as well as stocking up on great resources like books, games, and craft materials. 🎬🎭🎲 Gaby even gave the team some expert insider advice, suggesting that Hobbycraft vouchers would be a massive hit with the young people currently staying at the unit—so the team are definitely getting those in stock! To Gaby and her wonderful family, we want to say a massive thank you for your thoughtfulness, your creativity, and your immense kindness. You are helping make a difficult time just that little bit brighter for other young people. 🌟🙌
