Spaces available for the Anaesthetic Practitioner Programme – Starting 4 May 2026!  The Accelerated Anaesthetic Practitioner Programme, in partnership with NHS Boards across Scotland, offers Registered Nurses a 24-week training pathway to become Anaesthetic Practitioners.  The programme features 8 workshop days at NHS Scotland Academy, blended learning with high-fidelity simulation, and clinical skills development in emergencies, airway management, obstetrics, paediatrics, and remote anaesthesia  Learners are nominated by their NHS Board to take part.
