Follow these 7 BBQ tips from Food Standards Scotland to keep your summer sizzle safe: 1️⃣ Keep it clean – Wash hands, utensils & surfaces. 2️⃣ Keep raw & ready-to-eat foods apart – No cross-contamination! 3️⃣ Check the centre – Meat should be piping hot with no pink. 4️⃣ Use a food thermometer – 75Β°C inside means it's safe. 5️⃣ Chill it – Keep food in the fridge until you're ready to cook. 6️⃣ Marinate safely – In the fridge, not on the counter. 7️⃣ Don’t reuse BBQ sauce – If it touched raw meat, bin it!
