One of the dishes I always make time for whenever I return to my hometown of Quy Nhơn is Bánh Hỏi Cháo Lòng—delicate woven rice sheets served with pork offal and a bowl of comforting rice porridge. This traditional dish combines finely woven rice sheets, fresh herbs, pork offal, and warm rice porridge. It is a simple meal, yet one that reflects the rich culinary heritage of my hometown. I understand that some of my international friends may not feel comfortable eating pork offal, as food preferences and dietary practices vary across cultures. However, if you enjoy exploring local cuisine and authentic travel experiences, this is a dish worth trying at least once when visiting Quy Nhơn. Food is often one of the best ways to understand a place, its culture, and its people. ❤️ To my international friends, If my previous post about Bánh Hỏi Cháo Lòng caused any discomfort, I sincerely apologize. I understand that some people do not eat pork or pork products because of their faith, beliefs, or personal choices, and I deeply respect those differences. My intention was never to offend anyone. I simply wanted to share a traditional dish from my hometown and introduce a small part of Vietnamese culture to a wider audience. One of the things I value most about social media is the opportunity to learn about different cultures, traditions, and cuisines from around the world. I believe our differences enrich the world and help us better understand one another. Thank you for your understanding and kindness. ❤️ 📷 Photo source: Internet. #VietnameseCuisine #FoodCulture #QuyNhon #Vietnam
