Housekeeping: After buying The Kingdom Hotel in Victoria Falls for US$30 million, Dubai’s ASB Hospitality has started refurbishing the property. The 294-room hotel has been closed since January 2023, after African Sun checked out following a lease dispute with former owner First Capital Bank. ASB also bought Meikles Hotel for US$20 million in 2019, rebranding it as the Hyatt Regency Harare The Meikles.
